All John Marshall students are required to earn at least 3 experiential learning credits before they graduate. Earn your credits working in one of John Marshall's Community Legal Clinics.

Work side-by-side with faculty members and attorneys to provide essential legal services to Chicago's under-represented and vulnerable communities.
Gain direct legal experience—from client interviewing and counseling to pre-trial and motions practice to litigation and appellate work.
Graduate with practical experience and the skills and values you need to practice law right away—practice ready, no additional training required.

Serve the Community

We provide a range of services, including representing clients in litigation, spearheading impact litigation and legislative reform, offering public education and outreach, and providing client advice.
