CLE credit will be offered.

This year's Braun Symposium examines art and cultural heritage as essential human rights. Our speakers will address efforts to return art stolen during times of war, and the complicated questions of ownership and ethics that often arise. We will also consider the destruction of cultural heritage, both as deliberate acts of war and as unfortunate side effects of military action. Experts from academia, practice, and government will debate how best to protect the art and cultural heritage that makes us unique and human. We hope to bring recognition, if not resolution, to these compelling issues.

Presented by The John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law, the International Human Rights Clinic, and the L.A. Museum of the Holocaust.
